Some cultivars are grafted on demand and availability changes each season. Plums are grafted onto American plum rootstock and are hardy to Zone 2 & 3 unless specified.
American (Pink Flowering) - Selected as an ornamental featuring attractive pink springtime flowers followed by vivid pink-red foliage in fall. Precocious with small red sweet/tart plums.
Geddes - Smaller plums that are yellow skinned and fleshed. Nice for fresh eating. Usask Introduction.
K&D - Selected from a planting of seedling plums, smaller yellow plums that are sweet and tangy. Yellow fleshed and semi-freestone.
Konrad Gold - Smaller seedling plum with yellow skin and flesh, clingstone and one of the more sweeter plums we grow. Precocious
Kuban Comet - Early ripening hybrid plum from Russia. Red blushed yellow plum, semi-freestone. Best planted in zone 4 or warmer zones.
Mara - Yellow cherry-plum from Russia. Sweet small plums that ripen later than other cherry plums. Good producer
Norther - An older prunus nigra selection. Large red plums that are soft and sweet. Ripens in early August. Good forage tree for wildlife and livestock.
Ojibwe - A productive red plum originating from South Dakota. Flavourful firm yellow flesh that's good for fresh eating and canning. Ripens early Sept and semi-freestone. Vigorous growth.
Perfection Plum - Red plum with juicy yellow flesh, semi-freestone. Sweet with sour skin. Usask release.
Ptitsin #3 - Pink blushed green plum that has sweet and aromatic flavour similar to Ptitsin #5. Yellow fleshed and semi-freestone.
Ptitsin #10 - Good producer of blushed red plums with yellow flesh. Sweet and aromatic. Semi-freestone and early ripening.
Seedling - Our open pollinated seedlings, derived from our orchard cultivars, have a high likelihood of producing high-quality fruit due to their genetic origins from exceptional varieties.
Sinikka - Hardy European variety from Finland, produces small dark blue plums with green flesh, ready to harvest by early September. Good for fresh eating and excellent for preserves and processing. Freestone.
Surpreme - Red blushed yellow plum that is semi-freestone. Sweet and juicy. Usask Introduction
