Trailman Applecrab
Trailman Applecrab
The prairie hardy Trailman is known as one of the best of the applecrabs, and we agree!
These egg-shaped, golden-fleshed apples are very juicy and crisp with a spicy sweet/tart flavour - simply delicious! Skin is golden overlaid with a reddish brown wash. Perfect for eating fresh or juicing, this applecrab is a favourite among local cider makers and can also be used for canning.
Stores for up to two months in cold storage and ripens in early September. Bears fruit at a young age. Released from Beaverlodge, Alberta in 1973.
