Boreal Beauty Haskap

The Boreal Beauty Haskap has oval to heart shaped berry fruits that weigh between 2.6 - 3.7 grams. Berries are highly flavourful, meaty and firm. It is a heavy producer and a later ripening season from mid to late July. Shrubs are compact and tidy and begin to produce fruit within 1 to 2 years of planting.

Haskap, also known as honeyberry, is a cold-hardy fruit that has become increasingly popular in North America. The elongated berries have a distinctive sweet-tart flavour, often compared to a blend of raspberry and blueberry, with a pleasantly complex flavour of their own.

Haskaps can be enjoyed fresh or used in jams, pies, smoothies, sauces, fruit leather and other preserves. They are also naturally rich in antioxidants, making them both a delicious and nutritious addition to the garden.
